Hello everyone, happy Spring!! I don’t know what it’s like in the rest of the world, but here in California it is a beautiful sunny day.
Today is National Cancer Awareness day. The cancer flower is daffodil. The Cancer Center was handing out bouquets of daffodils to all the cancer patients this morning. When you get the daffodil its a bud, by the next day it’s in full bloom. I tried to upload a picture but for some reason the file was too big.
I’ve been doing pretty good. I’m working more than normal and starting to feel more normal everyday other than the fact that I can’t walk so much anymore. I had to go up and down the stairs 3 times in a row today and that was tough! Yesterday my radiation was cancelled because my machine needed a tune-up. I guess these machines need tune-ups once a month. So now my last radiation day is next Wednesday. Getting closer! I’m happy that it’s almost over, but trying to get as much done as I can while I’m feeling pretty well. I’m not sure what it’s going to be like when I start the chemo again in about a month.
